Statement from Jack Davis, Candidate for Congress (NY-26), on Aviation Safety

Statement

Date: April 1, 2011

Jack Davis stands with the families of the victims of Flight 3407 and Captain "Sully" Sullenberger. He's dismayed and angered that their common sense efforts to make our aviation system safer and more reliable are opposed by entrenched special interests in Washington. It's a perfect example why the people of the 26th District want and need an independent voice to represent them in Congress.

Jack Davis would have voted against the Shuster Amendment.
